The primary users of Gumberg Library facilities, services, and resources are the current students, faculty, administration, and staff of Duquesne University.
Non-affiliated individuals (the general public) who wish to use Gumberg Library should write to the Head of Access Services, in advance at heinlena@duq.edu.
During evening and weekend hours, we require all Duquesne University members to swipe their DUQ ID for access.
If you have visitors, they must sign-in, register, and obtain a guest pass at the front circulation desk upon entering the building. In most cases, we require visitors to be escorted by an affiliated Duquesne University member at all times. If you have any questions regarding Gumberg Library access, please call the front Circulation Desk at 412-396-6130.
