In most cases, if the book is in the general collection, call numbers beginning with A-J will be located on the 3rd floor. Some items with call numbers beginning with K-Z will be located on the 2nd floor. Signs on the end of each row indicate what range of books is contained in that row.
However, the book may be found in one of the library's special collections like the Curriculum Center, Phenomenology Center, and Archives. If the call number is in one of the library’s special collections, the collection and floor will be indicated in the QuickSearch item record.
If you cannot find a book on the shelf ask for assistance at the Circulation Desk on the 4th floor.
