If you need reference assistance during times when the library is closed you can use Ask Here PA. This service provides you reference help 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Ask Here PA can provide you with an answer to most reference questions within 15 minutes.  In the case of more in-depth research, Ask Here PA will give tools to get you started, and offer you a referral to a Gumberg librarian during normal library hours 8AM-6PM.

Reference librarians have also designed Research Guides for many majors and courses of study that can help when a librarian isn't available.

Questions regarding fines, renewals, and Gumberg Library specific questions cannot be answered through Ask Here PA.  You can call the Circulation Desk at 412-396-INFO(4636) and leave a voicemail.  Staff will contact you when the library opens.
